Designed and built by Drop In Skateparks in 2023, the approximately 8,400 square foot outdoor concrete skatepark in Wainwright, Alberta is a special project for Drop In as it stands as one of our highest profile clients to date. Our design team pays close attention to detail for optimal flow of a park, but not only that - they genuinely look for ways to incorporate something unique to the project that makes each skatepark truly one-of-a-kind. Since the skatepark was being built on a Canadian Forces Base, this project includes a custom, fully skateable Leopard 2 Tank, a feature that you will want to try! This skatepark was designed with a plaza-style layout, and in addition to the tank feature, it also includes other features such as a large open bowl, numerous hubbas, banks and rails, a bell speed bump, orange slice, stair sets, and a corner quarterpipe all accented with a smooth, artistic touch of coloured concrete throughout the skatepark.
