Designed and built by Drop In Skateparks in 2023, the approximately 7,600 square foot  Ron Wood Memorial Skatepark in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation is Drop In's farthest north skatepark project to date, located approximately 800 kilometers north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The outdoor concrete skatepark serves a thriving community of 3,400 people, and includes loads of skateable features great for all skill levels such as an open bowl with a double spine, mushroom manny pad, mini ramp island, tri-hubbas, rails, stair sets, banks and quarter pipes, and much more. The project received assistance in funding through Jordan's Principle, as well as Indigenous Services Canada.
